WHO WE ARE
We are a family of believers dedicated to glorifying God and living our lives in love and obedience to His Word. We are all sinners who have been redeemed by God through Christ. Because of God's love and mercy, we strive to be a light in our community through our service to others, sharing the hope that God has given us while building each other up spiritually and emotionally.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to the world to save the world and give everyone the opportunity for eternal life (John 3:16-17). We believe that Christ died sacrificially for all of our sins, was buried and rose again as God planned so that we can be reconnected to Him and overcome the sins that separate us for Him. (Acts 2:22-42; Romans 5:9-11; Hebrews 12:1-2).
After we heard this message, through faith (Romans 10:13-17), we each repented of our sins (Luke 13: 3,5), confessed that Jesus Christ was the Son of God (Matthew 10:32) and were "buried" with Him through baptism (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16). We then rose to walk in a new life of faith in Christ (Romans 6:3-4; Revelations 2:10). Although we are not perfect, we strive each day to submit ourselves to God (James 4:7-10), growing our relationship with Him to allow God to bring out the best in us (Romans 12:1-2)
HOW WE WORSHIP
We believe in praising and worshipping God as authorized through Biblical scriptures. Just like the first century Christians, in our services, we praise God through acapella singing (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16), communicate with Him through prayer (1 John 5:14 ), give a portion of our financial means to support the work of our congregation (2 Corinthians 9:7), remember Christ's sacrifice by partaking of the Lord's Supper every Sunday (Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 11:23-30), and diligently study God's word (2 Timothy 2:15).
